Young Scientist Award (Prêmio Jovem Cientista) By CNPq (National Counsel of Technological and Scientific Development)




   

The National Counsel of Technological and Scientific  Development (CNPq) delivered, on Monday (16/12), the Young Scientist Award. The recognition aims to encourage research and innovation in Brazil for the development of viable  solutions to the challenges of society. This year's theme was "Water: challenges of society." PhD. Eugenio Foresti,  senior researcher at LPB-EESC-USP, won in Academic Merit category because of his research on water.

The Young Scientist Award is an initiative of CNPq, in partnership with the Roberto Marinho Foundation, Gerdau and GE.
