This semester we have received one more foreign researcher to work with us in LPB!
MSc Andrea Ricotti is a researcher from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Florence (UniFi/Italy). Among his research interests, we can list water and wastewater treatment, sludge treatment, anaerobic digestion and nutrients removal.
Andrea will perform an 11-month research stay, as part of the CARBALA Project (CARBon BALAncing for nutrient control in wastewater treatment). He will work with anammox biomass under supervision of Professor Marcelo Zaiat and Assistent Professor Theo Syrto Octavio de Souza.
